We are DycoTrade, a fast-growing international company based in Aalsmeer, the Netherlands. With a team of around 80 dedicated professionals, we develop and implement cutting-edge software solutions on Microsoft ERP systems. Since our founding in 2012, we have been continuously growing and professionalizing our business.

All financial processes of DycoTrade and our four entities are managed from our Aalsmeer office. To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Solution Architect who will play a key role in designing and implementing our Commodity ERP solution for clients in industries such as coffee, grains, dairy, and metals.

Your role as a Solution Architect

As a Solution Architect, you will be responsible for designing and architecting solutions that align with the business needs of our clients in commodity industries like coffee, grain, dairy and metals. You will work closely with sales, project teams, and clients to ensure successful implementations using DycoTrade’s ‘Success by Design’ methodology.

This role demands technical expertise, leadership, and the ability to bridge the gap between client needs and technical implementation.

A typical day might look like this:

• Morning: Collaborating on-site or via MS Teams with clients to define business requirements and objectives. 
• Afternoon: Designing and documenting scalable and futureproof ERP architecture using Dynamics 365, Power Platform, and integrations for the business requirements you gathered earlier today. Some project team members contact you to have a critical look at the configuration or design they have created. With your helicopter view you make sure it aligns with the overall solution and meets the DycoTrade Success by Design standards.
• End of the day: Provide guidance to the project team in configuring, designing, implementing, and optimizing solutions. You update DevOps with outcomes of the day and prepare for tomorrows data migration update with the client.

Additionally, you will contribute to knowledge sharing in our Communities of Practice within the company and actively participate in innovation and quality assurance of our ERP solutions.

What we are looking for

Must-haves:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or Business Administration. 
• Proven experience as a Solution Architect in ERP implementations, preferably Dynamics 365. 
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and clients.
• Deep knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management. 
• Experience with ERP implementation methodologies and project management principles. 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
• Pro-active mindset
• Proficient in English

Nice-to-haves: 

• Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations Apps Solution Architect.
• Experience in commodity trading industries such as coffee, grains, dairy, and metals. 
• Expertise in data migrations, system integration and Power Platform solutions.
• Hands on experience with Success by Design.
